   Broken Prophet was started a long time ago in a far away land. Someone who I can’t remember asked me to put Psalm 103 to music because he thought it was so musical. It is now called “Bless the Lord” I tried to do others for years and finally gave up as it was too hard. Then one day it started to work. First I used a lot of Bibles[Ps 138 ,3 ,4 etc.] Then it was time for dictionaries and commentaries. Now every work is examined and many possibilities are tested. This isn’t a theological work as it is art. Who cares about stupid details when main ideas are clouded. By putting these to music ,hopefully they will come alive instead of staying a dull set of confusing words. Please enjoy the music

   Of course in spite of myself there is a small amount of controversy with this project. I started by asking the question,”What would this sound like if I were a modern guy doing this now.” I try to put myself in the various poets shoes or more correctly sandals

     After all this studying of words and innumerable tedious commentaries, maybe we’ll have our own real simple commentaries.
